I LOVE ABIGAIL OWUSU DIKO
We find ourselves in a dispensation where we try and appreciate the lives of people who have had impacts in our lives. Some people have great mentors to emulate while others have people who are little as their mentor although society will not recognize their efforts and their little contribution to great lives unknowingly. I celebrate my mentor and sister, Abigail Owusu Diko.
Nelson Mandela said, a man is blessed, when his blessings is reflected in the lives of others. Today I celebrate you because your blessings are being reflected in my life. She sowed into me, passion and commitment when I confided in her my dream of being a preacher like her. She gave her usual smiles and will say Kwabena are you really sure...... and i responded, I will surprise you and make you proud. She was the first to send me a charismatic camp meeting in Kumasi-Matyrs Of Christ youth fellowship. It should not surprise anybody why I so much in love with The god father of the Charismatic church in Ghana-His Eminence Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams. It was through these camp meeting that got me exposed to the different levels and dimensions of the power of the Holy Spirit. I watch her and her tenacity in prayer and all i say deep within me is....I will be an intercessor oneday.
It has always been her desire that I follow the successes she has chalked in order to raise the emblem of the family to be acdemic and spirtual warfar gurus. I recount on some years of not going to the university due to my own reasons, she coerced me and encouraged and today by the grace of God i am also in the university.
Her demise, her absence is really and greatly felt. It is like the deep pacific ocean. Her vaccum will be filled centuries of years to come. One energizing zeal I am so jealous about is that, you never thought about the predicament of the family and the bloodline pattern. You always thought about where you were going and how to get there. You were really my mentor and all friends in Aquinas 2013- 4Arts 1 recount how i always brag having my sister attending HolyChild School. Awww I cannot the numerous female Holy child students who were your classmates when i went out with for certain functions in Accra and legon
So AbiChrist, you are no more with us. I cannot seize to forget the constant regards you sent me when my parents visited you. Who will I discuss my CGPA with. I cannot forget the 'tear rubber car dream'. Testimonies of you cannot seize, my own Baako suro.
It is very early we parted ways but God knows it all....For you are with the Lord. I have been with you for some decades now and you really showed me stuffs. Its sad you will be missing the Midday Capsules and the few corrections you have been giving me.You never waited for the Convocation of my ministry which you sowed in 2010 in Kumasi. You will be forever remebered and celebrated across the nations. I LOVE YOU DEAR..........
Till We meet someday..............................
Till we meet at the Lord's feet........................
A LIFE WELL LIVED....................................
